Ora-Aid gives us great benefits such as protecting intraoral wounds from food, bacteria, and cigarette smoke; protecting suture thread from tongue irritation; protecting the growth factors in exudates that help heal; reducing pain and sensitivity; preventing damage during the initial wound healing period. Of course, Ora-Aid is easy to cut into different shapes/sizes and self adhesive with saliva which aids in homeostasis.

Lee Youngsuk
Director Lee, Yeong-seok (Lee Yeong Seok Dental Clinic) has been using ‘Ora-Aid’ continuously until now since he had first bought ‘Ora-Aid’ of Dentis at ‘SIDEX2016’ held in last April.
Director Lee said, “I had used hemostat , retainer or periodontal pack for protecting the wound in the treatment area inside mouth. I saw ‘Ora-Aid’ at SIDEX2016 and came to buy it as I thought the wound area may be protected just by attaching it without need for mixing process.”
He uses ‘Ora-Aid’ mainly at the time of periodontal surgery.
Director Lee has expressed his satisfaction by saying, “I expected the effects of hemostasis of wound area and pain reduction from ‘Ora-Aid’. As a result of applying it to the clinical treatment, ‘Ora-Aid’ protected the affected area sufficiently so that pain of the patient reduced and hemostasis effect was achieved.”
In particular, he considered the convenience in using compared to other hemostasis products the best advantage of ‘Ora-Aid’.
Director Lee said, ‘Ora-Aid’ adheres well if bleeding or saliva is removed properly with gauze. Remove saliva or bleeding with gauze and attach it, pressing it gently with fingertips, and it naturally reacts to saliva inside mouth and generates strong adhesive strength.”
Director Lee uses ‘Ora-Aid’ at the final stage after treatment or sells it to the patients who want it.
He said, “If ‘Ora-Aid’ is attached to the affected area of a patient at the final stage of periodontal surgery, inconvenience of the patient can be reduced and trust from the patient can be obtained. In case it is difficult for a patient to visit our dental clinic again or he (she) may feel inconvenience due to no stocking of the product, I sometimes sell ‘Ora-Aid’ to the patient.”
